As the 2nd phase of ticket sales come to a close, accommodation in South Africa for 2010's Soccer War is is becoming scarcer. It has now reached a stage where private home owners have joined the rush in order to rent out rooms and houses to overseas visitors.
This in itself is not a bad practice, as it will offer visitors the opportunity to meet and mingle with true South African families in the true South African way, maybe by being introduced to a real "braai" (barbeque of meat), and eating meat and "wors" (South African made sausage) and "pap" (made from maize meal).
This would also offer visitors the full South African experience in living among real SA families and getting right into the culture.
